The phrases are inspiring, thought provoking and some just tickle us with their healthy sarcasm. Some of them have impact on us and effect the way we think. But what these quotes have done to artist Tang Yau Hoong is, given him the idea to create another series of his artwork.

The Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia based artist, who is a combination of an illustrator, graphic designer, has created a series called 'Quote Illustration' in which he illustrates the same famous quotes which we all must have read somewhere or the other. The illustrations do not only remind us the phrases but also represent them visually.

What happens when two Ohio-based art students from the Columbus College of Art & Design come together?

Magic over the chalkboard. Known as the Dangerdust, these two anonymous art students who love chalk have been creating wonderful illustrated chalkboards featuring some famous inspiring quotes.

Every Monday the duo creates a new piece made using chalks and chalks only on a chalkboard and replaces it with a new one the following week. According to them, "Despite our overwhelming workload at Columbus College of Art & Design we bring it upon ourselves to create a chalkboard every week."

Remember the colouring books you used to love in your primary school days? They used to be the best gifts for some. I am sure, everybody also share the memories of drawing or sketching funny things in the back or in the margin of their notebooks, during some boring lecture. It used to be the only and a good option to survive the boredom. But it became a hobby and later a profession for this Japanese artist Keita Sagaki. But he brought a twist.

He merged his love for drawing cartoons and interest in famous art works. And he did that very finely. His art works may look like simple drawings from a distance, that too uncolored. But when you have a closer look at them, you find doodles all over. You will end up searching for your favorite characters within them and also refresh some childhood memories.
