If you are wondering that Google does nothing selfless then check out the recent developments of Google's Project Loon.

Yes, Project Loon, Google's high-flying Wi-Fi balloons that are on a mission to provide Internet to all, in every corner of the globe.

Recently, Google delivered Internet access to a local school in Brazil.

Campo Maior is a small town in rural Brazil with restricted Internet access because of its remote location and poor infrastructure. The locals there have to climb trees hunting for mobile wireless signals. In fact, they have a word for this - 'vaga-lume,' which means 'fireflying,' in English - because at night that's what the glow from their mobile phones looks like. A few weeks ago, in Linoca Gayoso, a local school in the town, Google beamed Internet directly into the classrooms with its high-flying Wi-Fi balloons.

Looking at how things are going with Google, there's no doubt that Google is going to revolutionize things around. And here's another industry that Google is definitely planning to revolutionize and that is the TV industry.

For the past four years, Google has been working on cars that drive for themselves and in case of emergency they return the control of the steering wheel to the driver. Yesterday at the Code Conference Google's co-founder Sergey Brin announced that the company has built a few prototype of these self-driving cars.

These self-driving have no steering wheel, accelerator pedal or brake pedal, all these things have been replaced by software and sensors. "The vehicles will be very basic - we want to learn from them and adapt them as quickly as possible - but they will take you where you want to go at the push of a button. And that's an important step toward improving road safety and transforming mobility for millions of people."

Anything looks cute when imitated as miniature and attract the eyeballs. Miniature sculptures by Kevin LCK are equally cute. He makes the series named "Ordinary Behavior" with the simplest thing possible and that is paper. The elegant black and white miniatures are made with all the fine details and remind one of the doll houses every little girls likes to own.

"'Ordinary Behavior' is a project about the unhealthy relationship between human and technology in an everyday context. I have created a set of illustrative objects as the tools of revealing the absurd situations. They are all made of paper cardboard and appear to be everyday electronic appliances and devices that can be found in our domestic environment, however, their interiors are modified into miniaturized human scaled space. I seek to detach the audience from the real world temporarily, provide them with a space to rethink and reconsider the way we behave and think about the relationship between ourselves, objects and environment with technology in a more conscious way." says the artist on his website.

Everyone's favorite cynical opportunist has seemingly made a career out of striving for ten million dollars, or savoring the tears of his victims. Nintendo Wii
South Park Episode: The "Go God Go" Trilogy

In this episode, the fat boy is obsessed with the release of the first major gaming console that uses wireless motion sensor capabilities for an interactive experience. It's no wonder he keeps a calendar in his bedroom leading up to the launch date, which is three weeks away too many. Working off of his advanced movie-watching prowess, Eric asks his willing whipping boy, Butters, to assist in a cryogenics experiment, meant to preserve himself until the Wii's arrival. How could this, after all, be any worse than having to wait?

If you are reading this article and everything else online then it's all because of the World Wide Web, had it not been there things would have been a lot different and the world wouldn't have changed for the better.

Well, today marks the 25th birthday of the World Wide Web (Yes... Happy B'day, World Wide Web) and on this occasion its inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee is calling on people like you and me to take action this year to keep the online resource open, global, accessible and free of censorship.

According to a blog post that Sir Tim Berners-Lee shared with Google, "Today is the web's 25th birthday. On March 12, 1989, I distributed a proposal to improve information flows: 'a web of notes with links between them'. Though CERN, as a physics lab, couldn't justify such a general software project, my boss Mike Sendall allowed me to work on it on the side. In 1990, I wrote the first browser and editor. In 1993, after much urging, CERN declared that WWW technology would be available to all, without paying royalties, forever".

The year was 1931 and Chester Gould, the creator of the Dick Tracy comic script, had not yet envisioned his character's use of mobile technology. Car phones were non-existent. And the payphone plotlines used by James Gardner and the Rockford Files were still 42 years in the future.

In January 1946, Gould introduced the now famous Tracy 2-Way Wrist Radio. It opened doors of wonder and perhaps even a few realistic thoughts on how to bring such technology to pass. In 1974, the hero of Rockford Files was still solving mysteries wherein the police were always late due to a lack of decent communication technology. Roadside payphones don't lend well to the emergency needs of troubled detectives.

If you can recall Coachella 2012, or remember reading about it, Tupac Shakur-- yes, the dead Tupac, made a special guest appearance. Many millennials, who were too young to even know Tupac's music when he was alive, were hypnotized by the stunning hologram and wondered when other holograms would make their way into their everyday lives. However Digital Domain Media Group, the company that provided the hologram image, has since gone bankrupt. Holograms have not made their way into American homes.

Wireless charging has been an idea in development for many years. Nikola Tesla was the man behind the invention of wireless power transfer. But where will it take us?

Despite the fact that wireless charging options are fairly costly in comparison to the traditional methods of charging a device, the prices are bound to drop in the coming years, which makes the future in this industry pretty exciting. This is of course a step further toward owning a wireless charger yourself with the potential of charging all battery operated devices simultaneously in one charging station.
