This week, E-junkie.info sat down (well, talked back and forth via e-mail) with web cartoonist Krazy Krow, the writer of Spinnerette.  Here's what we found out about him and his comics.

E-junkie: So first question, what made you decide to start your web-comic?

KraKro: It was a 14 hour road trip to Florida!  I was in the back of the car wondering, ‘what if a superhero had a mutant power that was really hard to hide?’ The whole comic idea started from the six arms, and fat suit.

E-junkie: Were you primarily influenced by other web comics, comic books, or newsprint comic strips?

KraKro: I was a manga reader first, and hadn’t read many superhero comics. It was my wife who converted me by bringing a big stack of Teen Titan comics when I was in the hospital, getting my tonsils out.

A photograph can capture a moment forever. A good photograph is the one which conveys the view of the photographer. It is the reflection of how the photographer views the scene before. A good photograph talks. There are many technicalities involved in photography which enables the photographer to come up with what exactly is desired. What could be more beautiful to click than Nature? Destin Sparks, a talented multi award-winning landscape photographer leaves no stone unturned to get perfect shots of mother nature.

Nature is beautiful! Yes it is. It is pleasurable. It gives pleasure to all our senses, the sense of vision, listening, feeling and even smelling. That is exactly what Nicole Ringgold, a jewelry designer says about nature as her main source of inspiration. Nature inspires some to write, some to draw, some to sing and some to dance. But for Nicole, it is her jewelry designs which came out as the product of her love for nature.

Nicole says on her blog, "My artwork includes mosaics, painted furniture, river rock jewelry, and I incorporate all sorts of funky art with natural and recycled elements. I believe that art should be integrated into people's every day lives, and encourage others to think about how they can transform their living and work spaces to include art."

Remember the awesome advertisement ideas we featured in one of our previous posts, and mentioned that they were all obtained from 'Ideas to Steal'? Could you believe that the cool ideas we are talking about could actually have been rejected at the first place. Yes, most of them were! But thanks to the mind behind 'Ideas to Steal', the amazing idea did not go missing.

The website is a boon to the ones who want to see their ideas transformed into reality but can not find the way to it. This is what the makers have to say on their website, "And then we thought: why not turn two negatives into one positive and help each other out? So we created this website where advertising creatives can post their unwanted but nevertheless brilliant ideas and allow fellow creatives (or even account handlers or clients for that matter) to steal them for a chance to actually make them happen."

Remember Mister Peebles? The guy with an interesting name and whose interesting art work we featured some time back on our blog. Mister Peebles draws animals dressed like humans or portraying a personality different from the regular ones. The drawings look simple but are fine examples of creativity and observation. There is a fun element too added to his works and that is the witty one lines along side his sketches.

"Mister Peebles' illustrations are created in North London using watercolor pencils,  pen and some ideas picked up at the zoo. He then creates & packs up each print himself for you to enjoy," he shares on his website.

There is no doubt that Mister Peebles' illustrations are engaging and successfully bring a smile on the viewer's face and the best thing they come as greeting cards that are fun to receive and give. Here is an interview with the artist. Read on to know more about him and the stories behind his work.

What would come to your mind if I say "threads"? Probably, you would think of a sewing machine or something related. That is pretty obvious. But there is an artist named Debbie Smyth, who apart from sewing, draws with thread.

What normally a drawing is made of? The answer would be pencil, pen, colours, paint etc. But, Debbie has a different take.

Art has no boundaries and limitations, nor it has rules to stick with. All it needs is passion and creativity to be an artist different from others. Debbie's work is a fine example of that. She has collaborated textile art with fine art like never before. Her worksheet is not limited to canvas but she make the walls her canvas.

Her works are not only amazing to look at, it would also capture your admiration. The amount of patience and concentration the art work demands is spectacular. Scroll down to see for yourself and notice the depth of imagination in the concepts in our exclusive interview with her.

Remember the "Handmade Scented Jewelry For Food Lovers" we featured on our blog some time back? Weren't those incredible!

They were all really some mouthwatering jewelry pieces. I believe one does not even need to be a food lover to fall in love with the jewelry made at Tiny Hands. They are cute enough to grab anybody's attention and make them say 'aww'. Because they are so realistic in their looks, they also act as good appetizers as well.

Well, I, being both a food and jewelry lover could not get over them. Seeing the two loves of my life coming together is awesome. Staring at those jewelry and admiring their beauty and simultaneously growing hungry, I decided to know the story behind them and got in touch with Mei, the creative brain behind them.

Read on the our exclusive interview with her.

Follow your dreams!
You must do what you like to!
Live life to the fullest!

Aren't these the mantras to lead a happy life. We all come across such messages through books, movies and even friends have such advice for us at times. But how many do actually follow, or are able to follow? One generally has more reasons to give up on one's dreams rather than to follow them. In fact, doing what is 'required' often seems more important than doing what is 'desired'. Isn't it? People may have different opinions and reasons. But there are some who exactly do what their heart tells them to.

Daniel Baylis, a Canadian dweller who calls himself a genetic adventurer. He set out on a journey to the world at the age of thirty, leaving his job, his rented apartment and just moved on to roam around in the world. Sounds like a movie? It does but it is not.

What do you usually do with your electronic items which are damaged or can not be used anymore? You probably dispose them off or store them for some time in the hope to get them repaired and then throw away. At the most, what one thinks of doing is to extract some usable parts from the gadget and discard the rest. Whatever you may be doing with the damaged electronics, I am sure you do not think of creating something totally new out of them.

What on Earth could be created with damaged gadgets! Is that what is going on in your mind? Tal Avitzur has the answer. 'Robot Sculptures' are what he creates. The cool robots he makes out of the scrap metal objects are so finely designed that one would easily assume them to be a part of the props used in some sci-fi movie.

Tal comes from a science oriented family background with all the siblings being engineers or doctors. But he has blended science and art together through his work. There are small details to be taken care of in his creations, which are a pleasure to watch. Read on the interview with artist and find out how he landed up into the world of robotics.

Remember the colouring books you used to love in your primary school days? They used to be the best gifts for some. I am sure, everybody also share the memories of drawing or sketching funny things in the back or in the margin of their notebooks, during some boring lecture. It used to be the only and a good option to survive the boredom. But it became a hobby and later a profession for this Japanese artist Keita Sagaki. But he brought a twist.

He merged his love for drawing cartoons and interest in famous art works. And he did that very finely. His art works may look like simple drawings from a distance, that too uncolored. But when you have a closer look at them, you find doodles all over. You will end up searching for your favorite characters within them and also refresh some childhood memories.

Sometimes it requires a major event in order to bring out the artist hidden in some people. Moved by the tragic events of 11 March, 2011 (earthquakes, tsunami and nuclear power plant explosion of Fukushima) while living in Tokyo, Mademoiselle Maurice decided to start composing her artistic and urban works in connection with these facts.

Modern-day art is very different from the traditional art. It's minimal, more thought through and well researched and is definitely, out-of-the-box. Time and again, we make it a point of sharing such interesting and compelling modern-day art work on our blog.

Meet Andrew Myers who is hailed as one of the most patient modern-day sculptors around.

Andrew is a California-based artist who was born in Braunshweig, Germany and was raised in Ciudad Real, Spain, is known all over the world for creating incredible portraits with screws. The artist first starts the process by placing the pages of a phone-book on top of a plywood panel and draws out a face and pre-drills holes onto it and then drills in the screws to make the portrait.
