Fashion designer Elvira 't Hart is one fabulous designer who has taken fashion to new heights with her amazing Wearable Drawings.

Through her latest collection of laser cut dresses, Elvira aims to translate 2D sketches to 3D art objects by using a laser to cut black leather and affixing it to sheer white fabric. "This project is about the research on how to translate something from 2D to 3D. Elvira loves to draw and most of her designs are inspired by her imagination. She wants her designs to look exactly the same as they were sketched. According to Elvira, "A lot of details contained within the first sketches are lost during the process of designing and executing clothing. In fact, one can use as many opinions as one can get. And this is where social media comes into play.

We don't need to tell you about how Facebook 'Likes' can affect a person's psyche. Keeping this in mind, a European fashion retailer C&A has come up with an ingenious social media campaign in Brazil that uses real-time feedback (rather 'Likes')  to help shoppers make a decision. This campaign is called 'Fashion Like' that displays number of likes received for a particular clothing on hangers. Each item is linked to C&A's Facebook page, and based on the popularity, shoppers can let go of any skepticism and confidently make a choice.

But fast forward two and a half years later and I´m now a full-time fashion blogger.
