The apps are absolutely free, and the CEO and President of Go Dimensions plan to earn their revenue through advertisements. Their very first app is called 'Catch Me Cop', they've also created an app that can help other children learn alphabets.
Sanjay and Shravan are well aware that Apple keeps 30% of their revenue, and they strategize accordingly.
"The applications we have developed have space for ads. We earned our first $100 through them!" shares a very happy and proud Sanjay. Further adding, "The app we are planning for the Apple and Android platforms will be based on location-based media. It will bring you the pollution status of the city at your fingertips."
The kids spend about 2 hours every day on their projects, but only after their homework is finished. You may assume that they gain inspiration from their techie dad, they do, but he's second in line. Their main source of inspiration is Steve Jobs, a man who remains to inspire millions worldwide.
Since their father works from home, the kids developed a liking towards computer which was fueled with curiosity.
According to their father Kumaran, "Their curiosity for programming knew no bounds and I decided to channelise their interest. When I taught the elder one, he was barely seven years old and the younger one too joined in. Within three years, they mastered three languages - Cobol, Basic and Objective-C and started to create mobile applications."
The kids managed to impress CNET, who have reviewed their app as well.
