After our latest post about Erika Iris Simmons, I surfed around the internet looking for similar artists whose talent can leave you spellbound. And fortunately I found Peter Callesen's artwork that left me awestruck; he is a Danish artist who creates art from simple white A4 sheets.

Yeah, you read that right. His unbelievable sculptural work is created by folding paper, he hand-cuts paper to create intricate artwork and large-scale illustrations as well. He utilizes negative space so artistically that it gives a three dimensional effect; it seems like magic or an illusion.

He has also published his book called 'Out Of Nothing' which includes photographs of his work and installations. His work not only demonstrates simple things in a very intriguing manner, he also has an inclination towards tragedy and pain.

"The thin white paper gives the paper sculptures a frailty that underlines the tragic and romantic theme of my works." explains Peter.

So have a look at his 'too-good-to-be-true' artwork and gather some inspiration from an artist who went way beyond conventional artwork:
