Sebastian Bieniek is a talented German artist and the brain behind the 'Doublefaced' photography series that these days can be seen all over the internet. Why, all because of its unique theme.

This series features a doublefaced German girl. Not that there is in actual a two-faced girl in Germany but Bieniek using simple makeup products like eye pencil and lipstick has created an illusion and for a moment it actually seems like the girl is two-faced. (Even I got confused for a few minutes.)

Remember the Firewall installation by Aaron Sherwood that we featured earlier this year on our blog? Wasn't it mind-blowing?

Just to refresh your memory Aaron is a Brooklyn-based artist who worked along with Mike Allison to create the Firewall installation. This installation responds to the human touch to create fire-like visuals and at the same time play music.

Well, after featuring Aaron we got in touch with him to learn more about him and his work and from what we learnt about him, Aaron no doubt is a multi-talented individual. Aaron is a musician turned creative coder.

Art comes in different forms and types. Some artist love to paint, some love to sculpt, some illustrate and there are some who infuse life in arcane and decaying things. Ekaterina was born in St. Petersburg in 1975. She has attended the Art School in St. Petersburg and has done her graduation at the Fine Art Academy in Monumental painting.

She was only 5 when she participated in her first exhibition in the Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg.

This book painting project known as 'Errata Corige' is one of her recent projects, where Ekaterina has painted across open-faced books, aligned with one another. She uses old books and documents like post-cards, letters, etc.

Look at the image on the left. This is no Photoshop trick, it's actually a high speed photograph of a mug filled with a beverage tossed in the air.

Mind-blowing, isn't it?

This photograph comes from a Belgium-based photographer and designer Manon Wethly.

Wethly just tosses a glass full of liquid in the air and captures these high speed images. When tossed in the air the liquid takes different abstract shapes against the sky.

According to Wethly, "It is absolutely fascinating to see what kind of shape an object or liquid gets when it is 'flying'. Clicking at exact the right second most often brings the most spectacular and surprising results."
