Its already Halloween time and almost everyone here in the office is in the Halloween mood; spooky fliers, candy corn, people planning for Halloween parties and costumes.  Last week, we talked about my Halloween costume trouble and you'd be glad to know that I have decided what I'm going to be this Halloween - a LEGO girl and I'm already working on my dress.

Debbie Goard, Amy Cabrero and Andie are some of the talented cake artists we have interviewed on our blog before. And it is a great pleasure for me to add one more name to the list: Gonzuela Bastarache, who is a brilliant cake sculptor. Her designs are super cute ranging from lifelike zombies to beautiful Cleopatra and 3D Oprah to amazing wildlife.

Gonzuela has been spreading magic in cake sculpting since last three years and believe me, I came across some of the most unusual yet extremely artistic cake designs ever in her portfolio.

We are thankful to Gonzuela, who took out some time to talk to us. Catch our exclusive conversation with her below:

Debbie Goard is an extremely talented artist from Oakland, who specializes in making sculpted cakes. Her cakes appear so realistic that it becomes difficult to believe if they are actually cakes. Not only that, the variety in the design of her cakes is really wide; from animals to games, transport to fashion, characters to food & drinks and whatever you can think of. Debbie has a booming fan base and why not? After all, she has been doing a wonderful job in sculpting cakes since 22 long years.

Though picking out the best ones from her portfolio was really tough, as each one of them is truly a masterpiece, but here I have selected a few to share with you guys. Scroll down to have a look. Amy Cabrero always knew that her greatest love and passion lies in Arts. Based in Puerto Rico, she creates beautiful cake designs at Cakeland Designs and specializes in creating wedding and celebrations cakes. Amy attended University of Sacred Heart, Santurce, P.R. and completed Bachelors of Art in Communications.

This talented cake baker has grown up in an artsy environment; drawing inspiration from her grandmother and mother. Since childhood, Amy has always been involved in creating different kind of artworks from silk screening to animation and photography to ceramics.

Cakeland Designs came to existence in 2005 and since then, she has been living with her passion for creating amazing cake designs. She has a great fan following and why not...she is brilliant at her work.

We all know what 'Icing on the Cake' means but let's be real now. Andie Specialty Sweets is one place where you'll experience the actual meaning of this well versed idiom. They specialize in handmade cake embellishments and decorative sugars that are edible and look extremely beautiful.
