It is 'Influence Engine Optimization'. Interesting, isn't it? How can one increase one's influence? It is not a mechanical process. But the 'Buzzoole' team has the answers.
According to the website, "Buzzoole is a social media advertising platform that allows brands to identify social influencers and brand advocates within any social media channel." For the users it enables them to "connect their social accounts, optimize your online presence, discover what topics they are influential in and be rewarded."
A great tool to be launched which would help advertisers and brands to increase their online presence, 'Buzzoole' is a unique concept which would benefit both, the brands and the users. 1. Hi Gennaro! Please introduce yourself to our readers.
My name is Gennaro Varriale and I'm a Buzzoole C.T.O.

From the age of 8 I've been coding and studying new technologies and always stay hungry for knowledge.
I feel lucky because my passion coincides with my professional work.
I have always worked as a freelancer for various web agencies until one weekend I created Pingram.me, a web app that went around the world in a few days and gave me notoriety among the most important sites, only through word of mouth from users.
I'm now here to talk about a new project in which I left everything to devote myself completely. Buzzoole, a online vertical tool for the construction and management of digital PR campaigns.
2. What is 'Buzzoole' and what inspired you and your team to start working on it?
Buzzoole is a platform for the automatic generation of word of mouth, with which companies can promote their products through the involvement of influencers.
In addition Buzzoole provides users with tools with which they can assess their influence, improve and be involved in campaigns to get rewards from the brand in exchange for the generation of word of mouth.
When Fabrizio Perrone (CEO) told me his initial idea it stayed with me very much, and given the success word of mouth had brought to Pingram.me I realized it was a great idea. Now we are 10 people working on the project and we all have the same enthusiasm
3. I'm curious to know about the etymology behind the name 'Buzzoole', could you please elucidate on that?
Sure. Our goal was to find a name that would represent the ability to generate a huge amount of buzz.
So we were inspired by Google, where the name comes from the word Googol (a number represented by 1 followed by 100 zeros).
And with a little creativity and pointing upon the world of 'buzz' Buzzoole was born.
4. 'Buzzoole' is the first IEO platform. Could you please tell us a bit more about IEO?
Buzzoole is the first IEO (Influence engine optimization) platform. Through our platform, we want to help users optimize their online presence and engagement within their network to help them become influential in subjects in which they have expertise.
In our vision the influence will increasingly become an alternative method of payment for access to discounts, special conditions or invitations to events.
Buzzoole is very focused on Influence. We work to understand what thematic areas a user is influential in and in what quantities.
5. How exactly does 'Buzzoole' work? What benefits can be extracted from it by both the parties?
With Buzzoole's analysis tools users can see how influential they are and in what. This can be used for all channels (Facebook, Facebook Pages, Twitter, Google+, Blog...) They can use Buzzoole's tools to increase and improve their influence. Brands can create a campaign identifying influencers by level, geographical area, topic and keywords. Buzzoole's proprietary algorithm will find the right influencers and turn them into BRAND AMBASSADORS. All users who choose to join the campaign can now publish an article on their blog or a post on a social profile giving their own personal feedback and thus increasing WOM about brand product. The brands will pay Buzzoole ONLY for each post published.
6. How has the journey been so far? What has been the biggest compliment that you have received so far?
We are very pleased with the work done so far. Even before launching the closed beta we have campaigns with international brands such as MSC, Ferrero, MailUp and many others. We have had many compliments, but one of the most important has been transformed into an award from SAP (Most innovative Big Data, Real Time and Predictive Analysis Project )7. Please tell about your monetization model.
We replicate the Google Adwords model in buzz marketing. Through our fully automated platform brands can generate buzz about their products / services through influencer of their niche market . The company pays on the basis of post generated by the influencers.
This model will allow us to offer all sizes of solutions. From start-ups to the top brands. We want to be the first platform that will allow small and medium-sized enterprises to plan buzz campaigns, now impossible given the minimum budgets of competitors and digital PR agencies.
8. How do you plan to promote 'Buzzoole'? What do you think is the ideal mix of social, online and offline promotion? What about word-of-mouth promotion?
We have 2 types of promotion as we have both users and brands. For users we're developing referral programs with things like monthly rewards where they participate in campaigns/contests and are buzzoole ambassadors in a sense. For brands we have different channels, with top brands we have face to face meetings with media centers and video adv we create partnerships and with digital agencies and small to medium enterprises we find them via web with our platforms live help, video tutorials and more.
9. What is your take on the wide spread of social media and its role in changing the world we see now?
I think there's no stopping it and in many ways it's been helpful for so many. Connecting people from all over the world is a pretty amazing feat. If it weren't for these networks we'd still be in the dark, they've opened up worlds to us and have allowed our youth to grow in ways that were never possible before. This is the future.
10. What are the future plans regarding 'Buzzoole' ?
Our goal is to establish ourselves in the international market and to be the platform brands think as THE tool when in need of a buzz marketing campaign.
11. What tips would you like to give to new and budding start-ups?
To always believe in their ideas and to not give up at the first challenge. Also, it's important to find the right people when building the team. Here at Buzzoole every one believes in our projects and gives their 100% contribution to our growth.
