I know how hectic a social media marketer's schedule can get, busy with all the planning, framing strategies, getting things done, evaluating the done things, working on promotion campaigns and what not. There always comes a 'that's it!' moment, in fact many of us already have but I guess it's the love of what we do and the fun part of it is what keeps us going. In this tight schedule we forget the fact that we all are entitled to take a break once in a while otherwise work would not be fun after a point of time.
Most of us work 24/7 and as time passes by we get so accustomed to our daily routine that we forget the need to take a break. That's maybe because of the fact that a social media marketer's work never ends. Your audience is not restricted to any geographical location, the whole world is your audience and so most of the time you have to be online doing things, the rest busy making plans and yay! you do get to sleep in between.
Some of us are able to take out time and go out, do stuff and some of us are busy working, feeling jealous of the fact how other people are enjoying the summer, people like me. Yesterday, I had my 'that's it!' moment. A friend's recent hiking photographs made me realize that I need to take a break and have some fun and that too before the summer ends. I know I can't take a no-gadget vacation but one thing that I can do is to connect with people over the phone or the laptop. So I started looking out for some handy tools that can help me and all my fellow social media marketers manage the companies' social network from anywhere.
