If you thought that the patent war was the last war between the two smartphone biggie, Samsung and Apple, then we have a news for you!
Last month, after Bloomberg published an article about Apple's rumored smart watch - iWatch and its launch date, all tech and gadget freaks were left excited. And why won't they be wearable technology is the next big thing; be it the Google Glass, the iWatch, or the Google's Talking Shoe concept.

The most recent entry to the wearable technology bandwagon is Samsung. Well, Samsung is not a newbie in this field. Back in 2009, Samsung launched the S9110 watch phone (the image on the left) with a 1.76-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, email support and MP3 playback.
In a recent interview Samsung's Executive Vice President, Lee Young Hee told Bloomberg that Samsung is busy developing a smart watch which is Samsung's answer to Apple's iWatch.
According to Lee, "We've been preparing the watch product for so long. We are working very hard to get ready for it. We are preparing products for the future, and the watch is definitely one of them."
Not much is known about the watch; its name, its exact features and specification. But one thing for sure, the iWatch and Samsung's smart watch are two same product, under two different brand names and with only a few different features; in terms of the OS.
For now there's no launch date of this smart watch but as Lee mentioned in the interview, "The issue here is who will first commercialize it so consumers can use it meaningfully", we can expect to see the release of the smart watch this year itself.
All we have to do until then is just wait for the smart watch revolution to begin!
Both Samsung and Apple are already working hard.
Earlier this week, Samsung launched its Galaxy S4 and two more high-end Samsung smartphones are also waiting to see the dawn of release and Apple, if the rumors are to be believed would be launching both iPhone 5S and iPhone 6 this year, along with the iWatch.
One thing for sure, that this smart watch battle between Samsung and Apple is going to be EPIC, who knows we might see another lawsuit.
