It is Dangerous. It is Difficult. It is Dirty. Its D-I-Y!

This is not a subtitle of a Hollywood flick for sure. If you are in a eco-mood and want to take up a small recycling initiative, this is it.

DIY art is actually everyone's cup of tea. If you are one of those who believes wasting things is a crime, you must read and try out these beautiful beer-n-wine bottle make-pieces for your drawing rooms, kitchens and that backyard barbecue party. And for this, you don't have to compromise on your drinking fetish, one bit!

As mentioned before, it may look beautiful and really easy from outside but being careful while working with glass is very important. One misstep and its 'red wine from your blood vessels' oozing to the floor.

Today we bring for you the collection of some very objective minded art studios- Barcelona based Lucirmas and Brooklyn's DIY blog Design Sponge. The approach of both these enterprises is to upcycle wasted piles of bottles that one would otherwise not imagine for any purpose.

Lucrimas' Pure Bottle project is a "three part set of objects made from a single wine botttle". Stunning, isn't it?

How is it done you may wonder, without the bottle getting cracked. That's the fragile trick of playing with glass.

Interested DIYers just need a workable glass cutting tool kit, sandpaper besides some safety gear to protect your hands and face especially. You are all set to go. This creative idea uses a single wine bottle in which two precise cuts. What you get now is a full blown recycled table set with a spoon, a lantern and a drinking glass. The technique here is simple, just sandblast the glass to smoothen the rough edges to get a fashionable adornment for your house.

Just Like this, Design Sponge, the Brooklyn based blog featured a beautiful series of wooden-wall torches made out of leftover bottles. You can simply light a candle at the mouth of the bottle or convert it into a lamp or just hang them at a window like a chime or else from the ceiling like a chandelier. They surely add to the soothing ambiance to your home decor. If you want to flaunt your creative side further, just pep-it up with some frizzy wires and brackets with a little extra sparkled paint-n-brush stroke. It's DIY after all!

Hope this adds to your creative vistas a lot more.
