Angry Birds is a milestone example of how simplest of apps can spread like wildfire. There is nothing complicated about Angry Birds, but yet it has turned out to be one of the most addictive games ever.
If you remember the 90s, one of the most popular and addictive games in mobile phones was 'Snakes' and I think Angry Birds managed to come pretty close.
