Wearing Social is a start up that runs on a trendy and refreshing concept. It specializes in providing social media t-shirts that are personalized. It has some really interesting designs such as 'Like Button Mosaic' which means thumbs up for your friends profile pictures, 'Best Status', 'Friend Count', 'Twitter Eggs', 'Twitter Friends' and many more.

Social media is the busiest media now-a-days. It has millions of users from all over the world. I think this is the beauty of Social Media. It helps you reach out to a heterogeneous group of people. People at Wearing Social might have realized the same thing and came up with this wonderful start up.

We have, Josh Rosenwald, the founder of 'Wearing Social' with us. Catch his interview below with some great designs at WS:

Josh, let's start with a brief introduction of yours.

My name is Josh Rosenwald, a 21 year old undergraduate in business. Noticing how the tech space was exploding, a few months ago I got together with my two buddies, Steven and Jojo, to found our own tech incubator called Conceptual.ly. The founding idea being we could spend 12 months working on one tech company and hoping it takes off or we could develop a system to create 12 new tech startups in that same time frame and still have quality products just more of them.

How did you come up with 'Wearing Social'?

WearingSocial was a perfect first fit to our incubator. We recognized that people are obsessed with social media. With over 750 million active Facebook users and somewhere over 20+ million active Twitter users people love to share their information online. For us wanted to bring that same personalized social media experience off of the internet and into the real world. Allow people that same social media but in physical wear.

Would you like to share your pre-launch experience with us? What was the biggest challenge you faced?

Our pre-launch experience was simple: Red Bull, Idea Paint and all-nighters. We worked through the night for almost a week that last week getting this thing up. But we have an extraordinary team so that made things easier. The biggest challenge was the loading times. Facebook was taking a while to send us the info we needed to create some shirts but our CTO came to the rescue at about 5am prior to launch and now our load time couldn’t be faster.

Presently, it's about Twitter and Facebook. Do you have any plans to include other social networking sites as well?

Definitely. Right now we are just testing the market with the most popular social media sites but we plan on adding sites such as Foursquare, Hi5, and even custom Polo’s for a more professional look when we add LinkedIn. The sky is really the limit here when you think about the billions of users on social media and that untapped market potential of bringing that information into the real world.

What about the other products like posters, mugs, calenders, etc.? Or Wearing Social will be all about T-shirts?

Right now we are all about T’s. They are in short: what people want. Any other product is really a future discussion but we don’t want to become an old fashion novelty store. We plan to become the newest type of retail trend.

Share your fondest memory with 'Wearing Social'.

I guess I’d have to say my fondest memory is when the first order came in. Seeing something you built, launched and grew. There is no better feeling than starting something from nothing and building a success (well trying to anyway).

What is your vision for 'Wearing Social' as a whole?

Our goal is to take the booming industry back to its roots. Not social media online but all about SOCIAL. That starts at home. On your clothes. What you wear for generations has described who you are. Now a status update does. We’re taking back Social Media and turning it into Social Wear in the hopes that people finally have not just an electronic way to express themselves but a fashionable way too.

What message do you have for our readers?

Get off your couch, stop Facebook messaging and tweeting and turn what you love to do into something you’ll love to wear. This is the newest thing since all of those Social Media sites and you DEFINITELY want to be the first one to show it off to your friends, coworkers and family. Don’t just be your social media, wear it!
