Victor, let's start with a brief introduction of yours.

My name is Victor and I am a 34 years old Romanian entrepreneur, programmer and the founder of Lubith. In the past I have dealt with classical business and also have been a part of the Advertising field. But, nowadays, I am 100% committed to online business and especially to Lubith.


Enlighten us with the concept of 'Lubith'.

Wordpress is an excellent content management system where we can update a website's content in no time but is not so easy to change the way the actual website looks like, meaning that you can take as many themes you want from the Internet and use them, but your site will not be unique and it will not look as you want. Using Lubith, the creation of a personalized theme becomes very easy through its intuitive interface. Lubith is accessible to everyone: it offers an opportunity to the untrained ones to create a theme without hiring a programmer and also is a tool that makes work easy for the skilled ones.





Tell us about the inception of 'Lubith'. What inspired you to create it?

Working as a web designer, I felt the need to have a tool that would ease my job in creating themes and HTML templates starting from a design. Before Lubith, I needed few hours to create a Wordpress theme just from the code. At some point I started looking for tools on the internet but nothing I found  satisfying. And this is how the first Lubith version came to life which was nothing sophisticated but it helped me save up hours of work. Then I thought that it was not just one web designer who needed such a tool but whoever wants to create a website. Lubith writes the code for you, regardless of you know programming or not, which is an extraordinary thing.


What does the word 'Lubith' stands for?

According to the Urban Dictionary "lubith" is a simple, cutesy and flirty word between Like, Luv and Love. We thought this would be a good name considering that our aim is to make Lubith "The most loved theme generator".






















If you have to list Lubith's three top features/advantages, what would they be?

- Very easy to use: Lubith has an intuitive interface, each change is made through simple actions, easy for everyone and not only for experienced web designers.

 -No code required: What before was reserved only for the professionals becomes accessible to everybody. While creating your own design with some simple mouse clicks, Lubith does the hard work in the background, programming.

Could you share your pre-launch experience with us, what was the major difficulty?

The major difficulty was not to lose my focus. I began to work on Lubith in 2007. Since it was a long term project I had difficult moments when I almost lost my hope, thinking that I would never see it come to life.


Share the best incident that you encountered on this journey from conceiving till present.

It was unbelievable when, just after one day after we put Lubith online, a lot of websites and blogs published many nice reviews about Lubith.
