As an old User, I have seen the many faces of computers. From using command lines on Commodores and DOS, to the ever advancing styles of Windows and Mac OS, with a little toying around with Linux. 

Now, the internet is bigger and easier then it ever was, with systems like WordPress. People can build websites without having to worry about knowing anything about coding. 

So it makes sense that you might say: “Do I really need to know anything about coding?”

Mozilla has recently announced the launch of 'Webmaker', a project that aims to make the world 'web literate'. The purpose of this project is to convert people from web users to web makers.

Webmaker will not only teach people how to make websites, but also help create web-related projects and apps, while creating a community comprising of people from various walks of life.

Webmaker will provide new tools and software, come up with creative starter projects with how-tos and recipes, that will encourage people to get creative with the web and also instill confidence.
