"City Silhouettes" is a photography series by Beijing based photographer James Jasper. It is a comment on larger number of people living in urban areas than in rural areas. This series has wonderful portraits of city dwellers blended with the image of cityskapes in background.

The technique involved in creating them is really fascinating. No, they are not digitally manipulated. "The images are made in camera with just a basic adjustment in contrast and colours but no retouching," explains artist. For producing this awesome silhouette effect, James captured the shadows of people on glass windows exposed to cityscapes.
