It's been almost 13 years when Lisa Irby, a successful online entrepreneur, stepped into the world of online marketing and since then she has been doing wonders in it. Today, she is working full time and earning from internet. Lisa is a self employed affiliate marketer, blogger, YouTuber and author of The WP Starter Guide. Teaching is one of her biggest passions and she keeps it alive at 2CreateAwebsite, where she teaches how to create a website, build traffic and eventually making money online.

Lisa, let's start with a brief introduction of yours.

My name is Lisa Irby and I'm an affiliate marketer. I have been earning a full time living from my websites since 2006.




































Tell us about your fantastic blog '2 create a website'. What is it all about.

My blog offers advice on website creation, Internet marketing, blogging, web design and so much more.


We would love to know about your blog's inception. What inspired you to start blogging?

I started blogging in 2006. To be honest I didn't have a clue why I needed one since I already had a static website - 2CreateAWebSite.com. So at firs the blog failed miserably. Then I started reading Problogger.net and got some fresh ideas and began putting more thought into my content. Suddenly my subscriber rate went up and people started following my blog more closely.

It was 2004 when I hit the six figure mark for the first time in a year. That was when I realized this was more than just a hobby. I knew I could make a living doing this. Two years later I said Adios to my full-time job and I've been self employed since.

My goal for 2 Create a Website is to continue to break down the learning barriers when it comes to website creation. I am about to launch a new WordPress Guide very soon and I believe it is the missing manual to using WordPress. As my site matures, I continue to look for ways to make learning simple.


Many of our readers and other bloggers would draw inspiration from you. What message do you have for them?

If it's not fun, you're in the wrong business. Too many people focus so much on the money and don't take the time to find something they love to do.  Find something you love, then discover a way to make money doing it.
