AstroloMe has revolutionized the way we read our daily horoscopes. It has modernized personal astrology by listing full events in one's chart. It lists an individual's personal daily challenges and advantages that ultimately helps him/her make better decisions.

Now, you might be thinking if what they forecast for you is actually authentic or not. Well, that's a very obvious question. AstroloMe claims that it calculates your horoscope on the basis of date, time and place of your birth.

The most fascinating part about AstroloMe is that it allows the user to share, rate and comment on your astrological events. It is more of like a social network where you can see others' astrological events; like them; comment on them and vice versa.

We have Lior, one of the founders of AstroloMe with us to tell us more about this fun and interactive concept. Read his interview with E-junkie below:

Tell us about 'AstroloMe' and the fascinating concept it uses.

Traditionally most horoscopes give sun sign information only. It’s one or two paragraphs of general information meant to pertain to as many people as possible. Basically, it's meant for entertainment purposes instead of the tool that astrology was originally meant to be.

AstroloMe offers people access to their accurate astrological forecast in real-time based on their current location and birth-chart (calculated using their date, time and place of birth). Our forecast enables productivity, helping people anticipate their challenges and utilize their advantages.

Three reasons why we can simply fall for 'AstroloMe' are____________?
  • Real time forecast updates advising what the stars say will happen today and tomorrow. Plus enabling you with the ability to add notes so that you can remember how you handled the same thing last time.
  • Learn more about yourself, not just your star sign.
  • Follow your friends and see what is going on in their lives on an astrological level.

How did this innovative idea occur to you?

Years ago I discovered astrology and realized the power personal astrology can have on one's life. After introducing this new knowledge to my co-founders, we decided to develop a platform so others could have easy access to the same knowledge and power.

You guys are in your initial stage. What kind of response 'AstroloMe' has received so far?

We've been getting amazing responses from both regular users and professional astrologers (which is very exciting).

Tell us about the pre-launch experience. What were the difficulties you had to face?

The most difficult challenge was deciding what features to include. There are so many things we want AstroloMe to have, but only so much R&D time and budget to get it done. Postponing a feature we like are the hardest decisions.

What do you think is the most important thing in starting up a new venture or launching a new product? What one should be the most careful about?

KISS - Keep it simple, stupid. And focus, focus, focus.

The most difficult thing while launching 'AstroloMe was____________?

Translating the million ideas we had about how the product should look and work into a real working product.

Share the best incident that you encountered on this journey from conceiving the idea till present.

I have to admit that I get a thrill every time we get positive feedback, be that an email filled with compliments or a positive review in iTunes. It's really fulfilling to know that we created something that means something and helps others.

What methods or tools are you most rely on, for promoting your product?

At this point we're focused on perfecting our product for user experience. Promotion will come later on.

What is your vision for 'AstroloME' as a whole? Where do you project it to see 2 years from now?

Eventually AstroloMe will be worldwide and include various types of astrology and a wide array of features and premium services. As for 2 years from now? We will have more services built and be working on building, such as family astrology and personal dating.

Since you've recently started up your business, one can look up to you for the best advice. What message do you have for them?

Keep your sense of humor, you're going to need it.

Lior, thanks for talking to us. It has been a pleasure to have you. Your start-up uses a great concept and hope it goes a long way. We wish you all the very best!
