What if your Facebook life is published in a book? A book that talks about only your friends, but also your statuses, your pictures, your friends' pictures, all that you see on a screen, comes out and gets published as a book. Wouldn't it be a great feeling to hold that book in your hands and I am sure, with each page you turn, your smile will get broader!
Now, what if your favorite profile picture mosaic is generated by combining all your Facebook pictures and profile pictures of your friends? Wouldn't that mosaic be one of your treasures and again, I am sure that you will place it on a wall that you see the most during a day.

He is the creative mind who has made all the above possible by creating two amazing products- EgoBook and EgoPoster. Both of them use a great concept and definitely a bliss for all you Facebook Junkies.

Nicolas, please introduce yourself to E-junkies.
I am a multimedia artist living in France.
When and what was the first product that you launched?
The EgoBook shop was launched in November 2010 with our flagship product, EgoBook.
How did this amazing concept of 'Ego Book' occurred to you?
I wanted to do this as soon as I was on Facebook ! I think the Facebook wall is really like a personal diary for everyone : it records everything. That's why the EgoBook is more than a personalized book, it's personal. The owners of an EgoBook are generally really proud of it, it's a part of them.
Lets talk about your most recent product 'EgoPoster'. Tell us about the fascinating concept it uses.
We have several cool projects in development, the last one being the EgoPoster. I wanted something more clever than a simple 'friend poster'!
With the EgoPoster, we gather all the pictures of an user and the picture profile of all his friends and we compose them as a mosaic to create his favorite profile picture. Literally speaking, his portrait is composed by thousands of images of his social life!
We have developed specific software to be able to do that.
What did you choose 'Facebook' and not 'Twitter' or any other social network?
Facebook has more social content, and more users than twitter.
What kind of response your products have received so far?
Really great! You can see from all the messages of our clients on our Fan Page (Our shop is rated 4.6/5), how passionate they are about their EgoBook.
It's more difficult to have feedback from the media, being a small company with a low marketing budget, we try to take one step at a time.
Do you try to target any specific group of people?
I think our product's marketing target is quite large ! So no, our only criteria is Facebook users.
Share the best incident that you have encountered on this journey.
Well what wasn't expected is that we regularly make EgoBook for deceased people. The family want to have a souvenir of the page as it was when the person was alive, but also after, with all the kind words from friends and family posted after the person passed away. We are happy to help families and friends in this difficult process.
What's next after EgoPoster? Are you planning on introducing any other product?
We want to create a range of product based on users' social experience ! More information soon :)
