This is a tiny 90 square-feet apartment that seems to have a different kind of a grey interior. An interior that gives a pixelated view but is actually made out of 25,000 ping-pong balls.
The project is known as "Box Box Project" designed by Snarkitecture and is occupied by Daniel Arsham in Brooklyn. The apartment is situated above the office of Snarkitecture, and all Daniel has to do is climb down to get to work.
The first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of Ping-Pong is..well Table Tennis, but the next thing that should come in mind is that ping-pong balls are highly flammable. To that Snarkitecture reassures that, " The spheres have been treated with a fire retardant intumescent coating - a product that is designed to swell in the presence of intense heat in order to prevent the material from burning."

That is really cool, though I don't think apartments for rent would be allowed to do that. I bet that took a long time.
