Weave Silk: A Fun, Interactive, Beautiful, Colorful Artwork to Play With

And here the weekend comes again, and I was finding ways to just clock the hours on this nothing to-do weekend. Then, I came across this fun, interactive and fairly cool artwork to play with: WeaveSilk. I find this a perfect combination of technology and artistic innovation.

Silk is an outcome of the experiment in generative art. It is created by Yuri Vishnevsky who is a computer science and linguistics student. To experience this fun, just visit their website and play around with the mouse; you will see beautiful colors creating waves. They appear very classy and is a treat to the eye.

You can even Silkify your desktop with four very cool wallpapers available on their website: Blue Silk on White, Rainbow Silk on White, Red Silk on White and Rainbow Silk on Black. These awesome silk wallpapers are developed by Anand Sharma. iPhone and iPad users however, will have to wait till the time weave silk is rolled out for their devices.
