Joe Bagley is a Boston-based paper artist. He hand cuts from a single sheet of paper and creates wonderful fine art and custom paper-cuttings. Each of his works are hand cut using only an acid free archival black paper. He then mounts each of them to acid-free white mat board.
"Papercutting has been around for thousands of years and is known in various cultures as scherenschnitte, wycinanki, papel picado and jihanzi. I'm attempting to modernize this artform and introduce a new audience to it", says Joe.
