This is perhaps the most apt portrait made in honor of the legendary three-time World Heavyweight champion Muhammad Ali. Created by Michael Kalish, this installation is made out of 1300 boxing speed bags on a two-story structure that has been constructed out of five miles of stainless steel and two miles of aluminium tubing; the portrait 22 feet in height.

This project is called 'reALIze' and is a result of three years of creative hard work put into the project.

"The monument is the result of a three-year creative journey that began when internationally lauded artist Michael Kalish was approached by Lonnie and Muhammad Ali to create a private original sculpture for them from Kalish's signature license plate art collection." describes his website.

The portrait is yet to be unveiled by Muhammad Ali himself on 25th March, 2011 in Los Angeles where the iconic legend will hang the last punching bag.
