Publicity and press are essential stimulants that every startup company needs to establish themselves in the online business. There's no doubt that a unique and creative product or service is the backbone for a newbie in the eCommerce world, but one needs exposure to kick-start their business and bring credibility in what they do.

Gone are the days when customers used to reach your website and click on that 'buy now' button spontaneously (except for some rare cases), these days a buyer makes sure that they look you up in Google and read what others have to say about you. So, here are few websites that are more than willing to feature you...provided they find your startup to be interesting and truly unique:

Startup World

"Startup world.com is dedicated to helping start-ups and developing businesses market their product or service. By joining Startup World you will be able to list your business for free." (Learn More)

Startup Wizz

"Our goal is to find some of the most disruptive, niche and interesting startups that our peers and investors want to know about. If you have a startup or work for one, go ahead and submit a startup." (Learn More)

Amazing Startups

"The startup must be absolutely amazing in order to be described by our site. We are very selective and usually only few startups are selected. Feel free to contact us if you think there are startups worth presenting on Amazing Startups." (Learn More)

Make Use Of

"At the moment there are about 50+ submissions per day but we are able to profile somewhere between 4-6 services. So as you can see there are lots of applications left uncovered, hopefully we can accommodate more requests in the future but for the time being we are able to address about 10% of requests. Please note, we only accept apps and web/mobile applications." (Learn More)

Springwise

"Have you spotted an interesting new business you think we should feature on Springwise? Please send them our way" (Learn More)

Startup Booster

"Please write as much as possible and it must be unique content. You can't just copy paste. If you provide us with quality good information, you will have a good review. If you don't provide us with good information, then most likely we will not review your site." (Learn More)

Great Startups

"Include as much information as possible when describing a startup. The more the better! Great Startups does not endorse or tolerate spam. We will contact you via email if we write about your company" (after you fill their information form) (Learn More)

Business Hackers

"Feel free to contact us if you think there are startups worth presenting on Business Hackers. We do not accept reviews that have been published on other sites. If you send us a copy of a text such as 'About' section of  your website, the review will be rejected automatically." (Learn More)

Pajama Entrepreneur

"Our aim is to profile startups from all over the world that are self-funded or funded by angel investors. If you wish to be featured in Pajama Entrepreneur, please send us an email." (Learn More)

Discovering Startups

"We accept submissions from any startup company - regardless of funding, location, or team size - and review them for free on a daily basis. We have reviewed startups that are little more than an entrepreneur's part-time hobby, as well as well as some that have secured multiple rounds of venture capital funding. We give that service to virtually all startups for free. However, we also know that telling the story is only half job done." (Learn More)

Mashable

"Remember, we're also entrepreneurs, and we want to help great startups to get the word out and be successful. We depend on you as much as you depend on us, so please keep your views coming and we hope to see you at an event." (Learn More)
