Sarah Chambers, a Precision Therapist (conscious self-hypnosis therapist) with decades of experience decided to step into the E-commerce world so that she can help those who are unable to see her face to face.

Tell us a bit about yourself.

I trained as a clinical hypnotherapist and psychotherapist with the acclaimed Institute of Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy (I.C.H.P.) in Ireland. My first year’s experience started in a health clinic in Scotland working with a team of doctors. I then opened my own practice working with government agencies, private clients and doctor’s referrals. When we came to Australia in 2005, I trained in NLP and timeline therapy.


With over 15 years of experience, what compelled you to join E-Commerce?

My lifestyle and work changed considerably when I was introduced to E-Junkie, opening up a whole new digital marketing experience for me. I went from hard copy audio production to MP3 tracks over night. With e-junkie’s shopping cart for selling downloads I was able to extend my products with my e-books. Please enlighten us about your therapeutic audios.


My audios are a result of many years experience of working chiefly with women. They are a compilation of highly effective techniques, which are called Precision Therapy, originally created by the late Duncan McColl. My self-hypnosis healing audios are specifically designed to create a really positive, quick and lasting shift in personal awareness. Healing Emotional Hurt, Step into Empowerment and Healing Emotional Dependency are just 3 of audios that promote fast and powerful healing.


Is online therapy different from helping people personally?

Working online with clients is not a replacement for face-to-face therapy. The advantage of online therapy, especially in Australia is that people living in remote locations that want to talk to me have access to my therapy services. Additionally because all my therapy audios and books are digital clients have easy and access to them, which is a real benefit as I can offer ongoing therapy support between sessions with my self-hypnosis audios.


We learnt that you are an author too; tell us about your books.

Yes, I write articles for ezinearticles.com and I currently have four e-books:

• Understanding Love, which has been translated into French together with my audio of the same name.
• Stress Management - Tips techniques and strategies for overcoming stress and creating a stress free life. I have just recorded a Precision Therapy self-hypnosis audio to accompany this e-book.
• The Naughty Elf, which is a metaphor story for young children, about releasing feelings instead of keeping them inside.
• Helping your child with social and emotional development, which is about teaching young children to understanding and deal with their feelings in creative ways.

How do you prefer to promote Sarah Chambers Audios over the Internet?

Through E-junkie and my website Sarah Chambers Audios, I also have a blog understandinglove.info that I dedicated to emotional healing where I offer a free 10 day program on Self Nurturing. I favor organic growth, as I believe it is the most successful long-term strategy for search engine placement. E-Junkie have helped enormously with this as my shop are submitted by E-junkie to Google, Merchant Center, Google shopping, SiteMaps, and other product-data feeds.

One of the many great features E-Junkie offers is the ability to promote my products through their marketplace, and, at the same time on my own website. Each product has a page of it’s own in my E-Junkie shop, so I have duplicated this on my website. I simply link the product in my E-Junkie shop to an audio sample page on my website. To make purchasing simple I paste a buy button next to each sample, which creates a smooth buying experience for my clients and customers it’s so easy! In addition to this I have an affiliation program that offers 50% commission on all Sarah Chambers products, which was so simple to set up through E-Junkie.


You relocated to Australia after living in Scotland for a long time, how do find the land down under?

Well I must say that it is much warmer! Living in Australia is very different from Scotland! We have been here now for 5 years and really love it. It is a completely different lifestyle. The great thing is my former clients can still have contact with me via my online therapy Australia services.

Helping others in coping with stress and emotional healing is a very noble job, as a therapist what is the most satisfying aspect about your work.

Watching clients change and grow in positive ways over a short period of time is a very satisfying aspect of my work. People mostly need practical support, understanding and knowledge to get them where they need to be. I see my therapy and myself, as a tool that helps shine light and understanding on their problem by bringing into consciousness the root causes. When people actively take action to change, something dynamic happens, they heal themselves, its wonderful.

What interests or hobbies do you have? Also, could you share you favorite music, movies, books and websites with us?

To be honest I see my website as my hobby. I am currently being taught SEO (search engine optimization) which I find incredibly interesting. Balance is very important to me, so I make sure that I have a life away from the computer as well, which includes walking my dog Henry, dining out, breeding tropical fish, relaxing with friends, and I love cooking, much to the delight of my husband Paul!


Lastly, few words of advice for aspiring entrepreneurs.

I believe that people who are successful in Internet marketing have a focused goal and are dedication to achieving it. They are not afraid of starting a venture and work hard. They never compromise themselves or their work. Quality is very important, always offer the best quality in whatever you are offering for sale. Gather the people, the resources and the services around you that will enable you to reach your goal. Do what inspires you, and learn how to do your own SEO’s!
