Google Analytics has always been the perfect solution for keeping a close track on the reachability of your blog; but now you have an analytics feature right in the dashboard of your blog.
You do not have to do anything special to activate it, or sign up for any third party application. Simply visit Blogger In Draft and you will see a "Stats" tab, just click on it and you will be able to view real-time analysis for your blog.
"The coolest thing about the new Blogger Stats is that it monitors and analyzes your visitor traffic in near-real-time. You can see which posts are getting the most visits and which sites are sending traffic to your blog right now." announced Kim from Blogspot.
Here's a brief of the new blogger analytics feature:
- First and foremost, you will receive real time reports, unlike Google Analytics which gets updated every few hours.
- You can track popular keywords.
- You can easily view the demographics of your visitors.
- You can not only see the traffics sources, but also real time page views for each of your posts and pages.
- Even though the feature is new, you can still view the entire history of your blog.
- You can analyse the browser info and also operating system that your visitors use.
Although you still might need to visit Google Analytics if you wish to receive more detailed information; that said, this new feature will sure make analyzing much easier with easy to understand graphics and basic reports which may be suffice for many bloggers out there. What do you think?
