One of the most tedious and overwhelming task for any small business owner is managing their company's finances.
While there are many who use excel sheets or applications like Quickbooks or Freshbooks for keeping a close track on their finances, but now a latest startup by Y-combinator called inDinero aims at making this task easier and more comprehensible.
'inDinero' is a web based financial dashboard designed specially for small business owners; unlike mint.com, that concentrates more towards personal finances rather than business.
inDinero offers real-time financial status from bank accounts and displays essential business metrics by dividing the application into:
- Dashboard
- Income
- Spending
- Planning
- Trends
"n less than 5 minutes, you'll know precisely how much you're earning, spending, what your cash situation looks like, and more. Since inDinero understand your spending, we can also remind you of upcoming bills to pay, and warn you about low balances and unusual account activity. inDinero works for your business, and is a new approach to business finance." claims inDinero.
It has been founded by Jessica Mah and Andy Su, who build the product in the summer of 2009 and almost a year later Ycombinator decided to back their project and subsequently inDinero came into being. Mah is a software developer who has been programming since the age of 9 and building businesses since she was 12, whereas Andy is a technical and design engineer and has won state & national awards in Maths and Science.
They offer 3 types of plans: 'Solo' for new entrepreneurs which offers 50 monthly transactions, 'Small Business' for $29.95/month providing 500 monthly transactions and 'Enterprise' - for Top-of-the-line businesses offering unlimited transactions in $99.9/month.
