An idea is like an unannounced guest that comes to your brain and changes everything, but it is up to you to either welcome it or simply ignore it.

Ana Maria Llopis believes in ideas and she did not shut the doors when she came up with an idea to provide a platform where people from all over the world can share and review their ideas. She founded Ideas4all two years back and since then they have managed to receive around 50,000 innovative concepts and have solved numerous problems.

It is a global forum that encourages users to share innovations and help each other by providing solutions, it is also a great platform for drawing inspiration. People can simply browse around, review, like, dislike or comment on various ideas that are floating around on the site. "In short, ideas4All is about connecting. Imagine millions of ideas all running around inside a Global Brain, all interconnecting and working together. It is big, and it is clever." believes the site.

Global Brain is a term given to 'collective intelligence', it refers to how the site sums up millions of ideas from all over the world and allows people to share it at a massive level. "Everyone has ideas worth sharing. Any idea can trigger other ideas." is the theory behind Global Brain.

There are three kinds of users:


1. Ideators: Those who come with ideas and wish to share it with the world in order to receive opinions, solutions or ways to improve it.

2. Questors: Those who are looking for solutions for their problems or are facing challenges and wish to find ways to overcome them.

3. Navigators: Those who are curious about stuff or wish to voice their opinions. They browse, vote, like, comment and connect ideas with problems.

Now the big question...How do they protect copyright or intellectual property for those who come up with ideas?

There are two ways for it, either you opt for 'Creative Commons Attribution' license according to which you will only retain authorship of the idea and give away all other rights; or you choose 'Ideas4all license agreement' according to which you will retain all rights, however this can not stop people from taking your idea and using it. Therefore they advice that you should disclose only the outline of your idea.

Soon ideas4all will be coming up with a new concept which will help people to earn money from their ideas, "we’re making it so that you can just hint at your idea, and then be matched to people who are prepared to pay, through ideas4All." is all that they have disclosed till now.
