If you remember the 13 Vital Reminders for Writers then I bet you do remember Daniel Baylis, the creative brain behind them. Yet again Baylis has come up with 13 vital reminders but this time these reminders are for travelers.

There are a lot of things that encourages people to travel, magazine ads, billboards and campaigns but what about those folks who have already decided to travel? These reminders are especially for those folks, those who want to travel with conscientiousness. "But what does 'conscientious travel' actually mean? It means remaining aware of how one’s presence affects local communities and local economies — from the street vendor to the international airline. It means being aware, careful, vigilant, cognizant. Aren't these the mantras to lead a happy life. We all come across such messages through books, movies and even friends have such advice for us at times. But how many do actually follow, or are able to follow? One generally has more reasons to give up on one's dreams rather than to follow them. In fact, doing what is 'required' often seems more important than doing what is 'desired'. Isn't it? People may have different opinions and reasons. But there are some who exactly do what their heart tells them to.

Daniel Baylis, a Canadian dweller who calls himself a genetic adventurer. He set out on a journey to the world at the age of thirty, leaving his job, his rented apartment and just moved on to roam around in the world. Sounds like a movie? It does but it is not.

Writing is not an easy task, keeping those ideas flowing, putting them into words, writing them onto paper and everything in between. What is important here is getting work done! Bottom-line.

We all have different methods and ways to keep those creative ideas flowing. some people read books, some listen to music, some spend them in the washroom thinking about it again and again, some just sit there thinking, waiting for the idea to just pop into their mind and some folk like Daniel Baylis, a writer and adventurer for whom writing is "like walking through a dark forest, but with your legs tied together. So in actuality you’re not really walking at all. But sort of hopping. Oh yes, and there's a little devil perched upon your shoulder whispering sweet doubts in your ear. And the worst thing of all is that he’s composing his insults more poetically than you ever could."
