Colorful Abstract Street Art

Street art contrary to some people's belief is one of the most accessible art form. You need not buy tickets to view the artist's work or stand in line in some exhibition.

From murals to graffiti, this broad art form is one of the most recognized and appreciated by artists and art-lovers all over the world. Names like Dan Witz, OaKoAk, Stracy Lee Stum and Leon Keer are no-new for the E-junkie blog. Another artist adding to this list is the Italian artist Guido Bisagni, famously known as 108.

Don't be fooled by the name Interior Design. We are not featuring some housing decor or furnishing line here. It's abstract art that's all set to baffle you today.

James Friedman's quirky work got us glued. The Ohio based photographer literally portrays the innards of unlikely things. It's strange where he finds his professional inspiration from. In this uniquely titled project Interior Design, James practically ripped apart golf balls for a click.

The artist isn't big on golf but he strangely had a collection of the golf balls at his place. The imagination was enough to get him started as he sliced open 20 different types of golf balls. He was enamored by the strange beauty he found within each. Thus was born his documenting work he called the Interior Design, for the namesake.

Michael Tompsett has a very interesting theory behind naming his artwork 'artPause'. Pause (a verb)  means to reflect or to consider, therefore by calling it artPause he means: 'Outstanding art that makes an impact'.

There is no doubt that by creating various maps of the world using abstract art, he is bringing us thought provoking artwork.

'Maps of the World' is a series of maps featuring all kinds of abstract art, you can find maps with butterflies, typography, music sheets, water color and even subway stations.
