The holiday season is upon us, and gift sales are already going up. Gift certificates are always a go-to for gift buyers (who wants to get someone they don't know something they might not like?) and you should consider offering them. 

Although we don't do a traditional gift card, there is a way to setup a gift coupon with e-junkie. The difference is the code that comes with the coupon will be used in one go, unlike a gift card/certificate that can be used for multiple orders over time.

The first thing you will want to do is come up with a list of codes, you can either do this manually or use an online system to come up with a list. random.org will come up with a list of codes for you. 

Once you have the codes you will need to setup a new product and a discount. I am going to start with the discount. From the Seller Admin page, click on the Add / Edit E-junkie Cart Discounts / Gift Coupons, it will be on the right side of the page. 

·       Once the page opens, leave the Product drop down menu to All Cart Items.

·       In the Discount Name field type in “Gift Coupon” or something else if you have a different name you prefer.

·       Next, copy the list of codes and paste them into the Discount Codes field.

·       Set the Max. Use Count to 1(so each code can only be used once) and then set the Discount field to 25.00 Flat.  

Once that is setup, the page will look similar to this (click to enlarge):

After that, click the Submit button to save the discount.  Once saved click the Back button to go back to the Seller Admin page.

On the upper left side of the Seller Admin page click on Add Product.

·       Give the product a Name, in this case I am going with Gift Coupon again.

·       Remove the check mark form the Single File Download option.

·       Add a check mark to the option for Send Stored Codes.

·       Set the price to 25.00.

So far the page, the page should look like this:

·       After that click on the More Options button.

·       On the following page, paste the list of codes in the field on the right. 

Your page should look like this:

·       Finally, click the Next button, then the Submit button.

As mentioned on the page pictured above, you will be notified when you are down to five codes.  You can also use this option to pre-sell a product, by making the discount Product specific.
