Happy viewing!
1. Austin Irving
Los Angeles-based commercial and fine art photographer. What caught our attention is her 'Show Caves' series where the artist travels the world clicking pictures of caves developed as tourist attractions.
2. CJ Hendry
Australian artist CJ Hendry creates photo-realistic black and white images with nothing but pen and paper and that too large in size.
3. Claire Droppert
Claire Droppert is Rotterdam-based photographer and visual designer who is inspired by the line where simplicity and minimalism are wed, and the new editing techniques that blur this line. I have a strong preference for landscapes, and desolate/open spaces. There is a distinctive whispering silence to be found in my work.
4. Esther Ruiz
Esther is a New York-based sculpturist and collage maker. Her sculptures as she refers to them as "settings," "little parties," and "miniature landscapes from a distant future," are simply mind-blowing.
5. Hollis Brown Thornton
If you are one of those folks who are still living in the 70s and 80s, then you ought to check out Hollis' work. His pixel art, paintings and manipulations will definitely put you back in time and back.
6. Joseph Loughborough
If you like the dark and grotesque art then I bet you'll live Joseph's beautiful charcoal drawings.
7. Karen Ann Myers
In her attempt to investigating the psychological complexity of women through intimate observations in the bedroom, Karen creates amazing oil paintings. According to her, "The work is inspired by the cult of beauty in contemporary mass media. Intricately painted, decorative interiors are invented to titillate the viewer."
8. Kirra Jamison
Kirra is an Australian artist known for her brightly colored loop paintings.
9. Martin Fenne
I love Martin's 'Sleepers' series that features the subject simply sleeping with the little bends and folds in mattresses, sheets, quilts and cushions constitute a habitat. Finally it's the habitus of the 'sleeper' that contracts everything in a big and winding fold.
10. Peter Judson
Peter is a London-based designer and print maker who creates bright and colorful artwork.
