1. Hi, please introduce yourself to our readers.I'm Dharam, Founder of LazyTurtle.in
2. How would you describe LazyTurtle to our readers?
LazyTurtle is an effort to bring most unique products under one roof. We focus on products and collectibles which bring smile on your face. Our "Pranks"section is full of really funny stuff.
3. What was the inspiration to launch LazyTurtle? What is the story behind the unique name and the tag line.
Laziness is good. Here’s what we mean, when you are lazy, you look to do things in the most efficient way possible, so you don’t have to re-do them, or so you have time for other things. In this sense, being lazy is just a complement to being efficient and productive—but without all the "running-around, looking-busy" mode we often see.
4. The products sold are quite unusual. Are the products assembled from different sources or are they manufactured under one roof? Tell us something about the team working on them.
As we cover wide range of products e.g. home & lifestyle, party & fun, gadgets & geeks, pranks & puzzle etc., So its not possible to get products from one source, our team works hard to search unique products from different sources and we always try to make sure that all products should be of good quality and we always look for our customers' feedback. LazyTurtle's product range is selected after a lot of research and testing. We perform our own designed "Monkey Testing" on all our products. We select our products based on uniqueness and quality.
5. What all promotional tools do you adopt for the promotion of LazyTurtle?
Facebook, College events, linked.in, discount coupon, SEO, complementary gifts etc...6. Is there a specific group of consumers you target as sellers?

10. What are your future plans for LazyTurtle? Any new range of products in the making, waiting for us?
We are looking forward to add more unique and cool products. We are going to add a section where customers can customize a gift e.g customers may chose to write a message, print a photo, add personalized greeting card etc. And of course based on coming festivals and special days, you'll see a range of relevant products.11. How do you see the advent of eCommerce and now mCommerce? Share with us your experience as an retailer.
I see eCommerce as a big shopping mall where millions of buyer and seller can interact with each other, recommend each other and share an honest feedback. There is lot of scope of eCommerce business in developing countries. Android phones and devices like iPhone are quickly taking over the eCommerce. At present, Business through mCommerce has less scope in country like India but it shall not be ignored.
12. As an etailer, what piece of advice would you like to pass on to aspiring sellers and entrepreneurs?
I'll just say that we are fortunate to live in this time where technology has opened enormous opportunities for us. I'll advice test your ideas at small scale and than jump into it completely. Use cloud based business solutions to keep your cost in control. And remember, as an entrepreneur you just not make money for yourself but you create employment for others too which is best charity you can do to a society.
Thank you Dharam for taking out the time and doing this interview with us. We'd like to wish you and your team the very best for the future.
