Paris-based photographer Benoit Courti is a well known name in the field of photography.
After working for years as a music composer, in 2010 Courti decided to make a career change and became a professional portrait and art photographer, something that fascinated him since his childhood.
One of his recent works caught our attention, known as Deep Black. In this series, Courti has captured simple subjects against black backdrops. There is no particular theme behind this incredible project as some of the images appear normal and playful but some might hit you both emotionally and mentally. All that Courti wanted to do was to illuminate simple subjects and at the same time maintain their expressiveness.
