A bag of chips, a folded one dollar bill and a newspaper are simple items we use in our everyday life but for a Milan-based Italian illustrator and graphic designer Marcello Barenghi these mundane objects are interesting subjects of his artwork - My Speed Drawings.
Barenghi creates hyper-realistic drawings of items we use in our everyday life that look so real that for a moment you are actually confused what you are looking at. They seem just so real and amazing.
Using simple art supplies like pens, pencils, markers and watercolors, Barenghi spends almost 4-6 hours to draw each drawing (learn the drawing process here). He also records the drawing process in time-lapse videos and uploads them regularly on his YouTube channel.
