Start-ups, small and medium business entrepreneurs are of special interest to E-junkie any day.

To trace the happenings of the market is much easier than what goes on inside of the minds of people who guide the winds of change in the industry day-in and day-out.

Starting a business from the scratch is as we all know nothing short of like a gestation period an unborn child goes through. It has to be nurtured with the right talent, finances and planning.

The game of Start-ups is one of both power and responsibility alike. From setting personal examples and leading from the front, a start-up business leader has to adopt a dual look - inwardly motivational and outwardly ambitious. From figting failures, to finding that right organizatinal team to work, attracting investors and setting the corrcet tune in the market with customers is a responsibility of huge dimensions.

However, despite the strains that every entrepreneur takes to accomplish their business goals, the statistics show that 75% (3 out of 4) of start-ups actually phase out before they get established. For many of us its a huge number.

But consider this. The best thing about a start-up business is its phoenix-like quality. If one business does not work out, there is always an oppotrunity to get back again with a better project, with a bette team, with better knowledge from the past mistakes. But all it takes is the zeal to make that comeback again.

Now that's the biggest personal battle most entrepreneurs have to face. That is to re-create a business persona, both among the industry fellows as well as a target market that surely forgets bad businesses of the past instantly.

The major pitfalls lies not in the lack of effort in terms of product development but over expecting at the outset. Most businesses do not have a Plan B or what is called as an Exit plan.
