Music is a passion all of us at E-junkie share deeply. Be it any genre or language, the team rejoices in it to break out of the day's monotony.

On one such occassion, I stumbled accross this absolutely incredible website - Incredibox, that lets you make your own music and share it on various social media platforms also. No musical maestro by any standards, but it sure was fun to dabble with various beats and notes to create some own music. All I was left with was a heartfelt smile on my face at the end of the day.

On a more serious note, I personally feel Incredibox is a great tool to initiate young kids and budding artists to the world of music by allowing them to explore and experiment with their tastes. Grown ups and professionals can also try their hand at this flash based application to mix-n-match genres, beats, voice-notes and add effects to show their brand of musical creativity to friends and family.

Incredibox was started in 2009 by a French graphic designer Flora Commaret along with her mixed media studio So Far So Good fellows - Allan Durand (developer/web designer), Romain Delambily (illustrator) and Paul Malburet (sound designer/music artist).

Within weeks of launch it was awarded the FWA (Favorite Website Award) for innovation. The incredible team launched the second version of the DIY music app in March 2012 with newer sounds and recording techniques. It is also listed on the top 60,000 blogs from across the world.

Now how does one get started on it? That is probably the easiest part I say.

1. Just log onto to their website and you see this cartoon-ish guy pop up on the screen.

2. Listed below are various Effects, Beats, Melodies, Chorus and Voices you can dabble with. All you have to do is click on the specific theme you want and drag-to-drop on the figure in the screen. You can immediately hear it.

3. As you get a little more indulgent, you can start mixing and matching while simultaneously recording the creation also. Users can know the various Settings indicated on the top right hand corner of the music box.

4. Having played around long enough, you can share your recordings on your various social networking sites as well.

Isn't it the simplest DIY music creator app you have come across? Not only is it fun but actually worth exploring deeply. Moreover, if your office seems like a drag, try your hand at the app to create some goofy beatbox music and trouble your colleagues and boss (if you just want to take the joke to the next level)!

Do try out Incredibox and share with us your musical experience by leaving us a comment in the section below.
