With the prospective crash of the European stock market this year, it can seem dismal for the overall prospective of the global economy, but there are still many things to be hopeful about for the US Economy. Because the US Economy is something that is unpredictable, it can be hard to say for sure whether we are going in the right direction but there are factors that are in our favor.

As we are starting to see the economy emerge again, small businesses are starting to have more hope for the future of their companies but it can still appear to be a risky venture to pursue. Luckily, there are many factors that support the future for small businesses; the economy being the largest factor. Let's take a closer look at what we can expect for small businesses this year.

1. Stocks Are Still at a Medium Price Range
Luckily, stocks are in the medium range and although naturally fluctuate on a daily basis are perceived to only rise throughout the year. What does this mean for small businesses? If people are starting to invest more in stocks, they will presumably start investing in small businesses.

2.  People Are Starting to Have Trust
Slowly but surely, people are starting to have trust in the stock market again and are having faith in new startup companies. Although they may not be putting all of their eggs in one basket like they once did, they are buying stocks like they used to before the crisis hit.

3. There is Only Hope For a Better Tomorrow
With the financial crisis occurring nearly 5 years ago, we are finally seeing that the US financial market is slowly but hopefully on an up rise. Ever since the financial crisis, there are so many things that make Americans feel less than at ease when it comes to their wallet and their investments. Although we are nowhere where we were before the financial crisis, the stock market is gaining back it's gumption in a slow but hopeful way.

4. Digitalization
With the digital realm taking over virtually aspect of our lives, small businesses should count on this same digitalization to boost our economy and their productivity. Small businesses can participate in virtual stock exchange in order to encourage clients to participate. Encouraging clients to be involved within virtual stock exchangeis a great way to participate in the economy and get people excited about your small business.

5. Flows of Funds
The US stock market is likely to be a safe haven for flows of funds such as the Treasury bond market or euro zone crisis. When people invest their money into the US stock market that can only mean the best for our overall economy and for small businesses as well.
