One thing that most of us enjoy doing is - doodling; doodling on the newspaper or magazine, doodling during meetings and sometimes doodling on someone's face while he or she is sleeping. But for David Laferriere doodling is a serious thing.

David Laferriere is a Massachusetts-based graphic designer, illustrator and one of the coolest dads on this planet.

David loves to draw different characters and designs on his kids' sandwich bags. It all started in 2008, David wanted to do something special for his boys. "It was just a way to have fun with the kids. And also start my creative juices before work. I had already been making their lunches, and I experimented with a few things", shares David.

Using a Sharpie marker, David has created over 1,100 drawings and is continuously adding more drawings to his collection.

According to David, "Each drawing is done just after I make the sandwich. I take a picture and post to flickr. My kids don't see the drawing until it is lunchtime. The challenges are coming up with an idea and then drawing quickly and directly on the bag, every line counts."
