The Milan-based animator, Roberto Vergati Santos sure has a creative bend of mind. In a post with his illustrations, titled as "Sponsored Heroes", he takes popular superheroes and comic-strip characters to picturise branding in a new mould.

Hailing from the hub of Italian high fashion and culture, Santos has an innate perception of his art. Santos explains “Imagine if one day capitalism reaches the point, where the big brands start to sponsor the superheroes. How would this influence their images? Based on this hypothesis, I decided to experiment with some characters, and see what would be the results of such idea.”

Taking Roberto's lead, we too tried to imagine how it would be if famous companies decided to advertise their logos on such characters. There is no shortfall of innovative branding campaigns nowadays. It sure would be great to see such sponsored heroes display their courage as well as do the virtual selling on celluoid and in between cuts-n-takes.

Well that was our fertile imagination doing the rounds, we'll let you do yours. But first do check out Roberto's handiwork below:

Do let us know your take on such innovative branding. Who among these superheroes would you pick out as the face of your product?
