In 2013, LinkedIn hit a major milestone - 200 million members.

Keeping in line with its professional tones, the social media site sent out a record 10 million congratulatory emails to select individuals in the top 1-5% most popular profile category.

The popularity of the social media site among business professionals and entrepreneurs is no doubt an established fact, a point to consider is what influences the work culture of the employees to produce this popularity score.

The social media platform, a few days ago shared an interesting video on their official blog about the 'inDays' tradition that got us interested. What's this?

As most corporates which try to integrate constructively with their employees to improve their efficiency and dedication to the firm, inDays is an important part of LinkedIn culture. As the blog informs us, "Every month, LinkedIn gives one Friday back to all of its regular employees and interns. We use the day to innovate, collaborate, think creatively, work on inspirational projects and to invest in our career path".

This theme-based de-stressing fete-of-sorts is celebrated with gusto across all LinkedIn offices the world over- from Amsterdam to its headquarters in Mountain View.

'Mobile' is an integral part of their business strategy that has seen the site expand its ambit to 200 million people, the theme this year was "Mobile Madness" wherein the employees spent the day off by "attending mobile product sessions, exploring new mobile technologies , creating new features and hacking LinkedIn code". In other words inDays are like educative boot-camps, but a lot more fun and relaxed!

If 2012 was all abuzz with "Gangnam Style", its the "Harlem Shake by Baauer" that's slowly seeping into pop and corporate culture, globally.

Adding a new cue to this traditional inhouse celebration, the Mountain View branch of LinkedIn chilled out  by grooving to the viral video "Harlem Shake". But obviously their way.

The workers came up with their version of inDays Shake dance moves to truly let some hair down. They call it their interpretation of being mobile. Watch the obvious pun, if you haven't caught it so far!

Here are the interesting inDays celebration videos of LinkedIn employees, doing it the "Harlem Shake" style.
