A while back, we brought you a list of awesome examples of  typography art and it was loved by you all. Today, I have another example of excellent typography to share with you; a series of English alphabets created from 540 iPhone apps.

The creative designer behind creating this wonderful series of iPhone font is Oriol Fernandez Tur from Barcelona, Spain. He is an art director and specializes in illustration and typography.

For this project, there is no information provided beyond 'a font created from 540 iPhone apps and too much free time'. However, I noticed that 'W' was missing from the series, may be because it requires at least 4 columns. Have a look at these pretty font below with a video where the designer is showing the font live:
