Kerry Skarbakka is better known as the falling guy but he is truly an uprising artist; amusing the world by his stunts and death-defying photographs. Kerry graduated in Studio Art from the University of Washington School Of Art in 1994 and received his MFA in Photography from Columbia College in Chicago in 2003. Kerry started "Art of Falling" after the 9/11 incident emphasizing on the belief that "we live in a world that constantly tests our stability".

In his series, 'The Struggle to Right Oneself', he is seen mid air, falling from the bridge, cliffs, slipping in bathroom, plunging from a railway bridge and a lot many horrifying situations. But the artist takes care of his safety very well. The harnesses and wires attached holds him perfectly and are digitally removed afterwards. Have a look at the entire series below and you're bound to get amazed:

He travels the world to look for a perfect  location to shoot himself while falling. His work has been exhibited internationally and currently, he is the faculty of Photography and Digital Media at Prescott College.
