Chumbak is a Hindi name for magnet, and magnet is inspiration behind inception of this colorful company that makes sure that you carry a little bit of India with any product that you buy.

Shubhra, the founder of this company is an avid traveler and loves to take home a souvenir in form of fridge magnets from every new place that she visits. She realized that for some weird reason, you can't find good quality fridge magnets in India and that is when she decided to start her own company and quite aptly named it Chumbak. She has come a long way since then, and you can find a lot more than fridge magnets on her website.

"For some strange unknown reason, you could never find great quality and fun magnets in India. It's one of those strange mysteries of life that one may never answer...like: Why don't men understand that peach can be a color and a fruit...or may be..Why did Darth Vader turn to the Bright Side in the end...but who knows why and that's the way it is.

Chumbak was born out of love for India and the love of travel. Along the way, Chumbak became a lot more than just fridge magnets! Chumbak became a way to take back a piece of India...in the form of fridge magnets, key chains, t-shirts, bags, pens, books and various other stuff..."
