Well, this quote rightly fits here. Heather Hems, a 69-year old pensioner has spent more than one and a half decade sewing for 10-12 hours a day. She has made a collection of embroidered artworks; dedicated thousands of hours sewing to create record breaking tapestry. Her passion for embroidery started at a very early age and made her touch new heights in the world of Arts.
During these years, she has created 23 embroidered panels and spent thousands of pounds on the materials used to create them. Heather, based in Lyndhurst, England even had to undergo shoulder surgery . But nothing stopped her and she is all ready to be recognized by Guinness World Records for her work which covers twice the area of the Bayeux Tapestry.
Heather is still sewing but creating comparatively smaller pieces. Kudos to Heather!!!
