Our former Artist Of The Week: Florentijn Hofman, an artist known for his gigantic installations in public spaces has once again proved himself to be one of the most talented, hard working and 'larger than life' artists.

He is the same guy who built a huge Fat Monkey in Brazil that was made from 10,000 flip flops. This time he strikes in Sweden, and installs a bright yellow rabbit that is made out of wood and takspan, with support from some metal structures and with ballast of concrete. It is 13x16x16 meters in size and is located against the statue of 'Engelbrekt'.

"The Big Yellow Rabbit is a temporary 13 meter high sculpture. It's an enlarged cuddle toy made out of Swedish products thrown against the statue." describes Hofman's website.
