Kris Kuksi didn't have a very pleasant childhood, other than an alcoholic father, two elder brothers and a busy mom all he had was an open country and his very active imagination. It's a good thing that he learnt to channel his imagination, otherwise the world would have missed out an amazingly talented artist.
His meticulous work starts with assembling and collecting all kinds of parts for his sculptures that convey his thought process and symbolize his perception towards God, religion, humanity and morality. He then cuts and re-shapes each of these parts and unites them to create a thought provoking sculpture.
"In personal reflection, Kris feels that in the world today much of mankind is oftentimes frivolous and fragile, being driven primarily by greed and materialism. He hopes that his art exposes the fallacies of Man, unveiling a new level of awareness to the viewer." explains his website. Kris is an award winning artist with many zealous fans and admirers backing and appreciating his artwork.
