What makes Tim our 'Blogger of the week' is his commendable writing style and the way he connects with his readers. If you are really looking for improving your soft skills and over all development, 'A Daring Adventure' is the place for you. Catch this small conversation with Tim below:

1. Tim, please introduce yourself to E-junkies.

I’m a Professional Life Coach from the UK now living in Orlando. I have been coaching full time for 6 years and prior to getting certified worked in sales for 20 years. I’m married to Helen, with no kids but 2 nutcase dobermans.

2. Firstly, let's talk about your fantastic blog 'A Daring Adventure'. What is it all about?

The point of the blog is really to take a different more humorous and irreverent look at self development. To not be afraid to challenge the status quo and smash a few sacred cows. It’s also a place where I can throw ideas out and see what the feedback is like. Sometimes I get some great ideas from my readers.

3. Tell us about the inception of 'A Daring Adventure'. What inspired you to start blogging?

To be honest it was originally just to gain traffic by using key words for Google. I had no idea the whole blogging thing existed when I started 5 years ago. But within a year or so it was obvious and when people actually started to comment it became a lot more than SEO, but fun!

4. When you started 'A Daring Adventure', did you ever think that it will be as famous and successful as it is now?

I’m not sure it’s famous now, but I definitely never thought I would get the traffic I do, so that has been a really cool side effect.

5. What do you think makes your blog stand out?

I think the humor and that I don’t take myself too seriously. People often have a perception of Life Coaches and I usually break that perception, by being me and not pretending that because I’m a Life Coach my life is perfect.

6. How 'A Daring Adventure' has changed your life both personally as well as professionally?

Wow, that is a tough one. It’s definitely made me a much better coach, because if I have an idea that I blog about and it’s garbage, people will be lining up to tell me, so I have to think stuff through. Personally I’m not sure if it's because I have tried to keep it as authentic as possible. Actually no, it has, because I have made a lot of good friends through my blog.

7. What are your dreams/vision for 'A Daring Adventure’?

More of the same really. My biggest goal is to give away 1,000,000 copies of a book I co-authored to good causes and I use the blog to promote that sometimes. Other than that I’m fairly happy with it.

8. Give us a few tips on building a successful blog.

Be yourself,. It’s really important you don’t try and put up a mask because it will wear you out. Also read up on the basics of SEO (search engine optimization) first so Google can find you!

9. Share your fondest memory with 'A Daring Adventure'.

Some of the e-mails I have received have been amazing and really gratifying, but I guess the true answer would be when I had a post on the 20 Greatest Motivational Quotes Of All Time go viral and gain 50,000 page views in a week.

10. Many other bloggers and our readers would draw inspiration from you. What message do you have for them?

Draw inspiration from yourself. Seriously, most people are way more amazing than they give themselves credit for.

Tim, thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. It has certainly helped us knowing you better as a person as well as a blogger. We wish you all the very best for your future endeavors.
