Richard is a UK-based designer who has worked in commendable projects like: Alice in Wonderland, Empire Cinemas, The Paul O'Grady Show and another recent movie, The Way Back.
These stunning and fascinating speakers are named Italian Portraiture, Droid and Ghanaian Ancestor Mask. "Imagine four stunning sculpture pieces, each historic and rate. One in each corner of your viewing room providing your surround system sources. Or a selection of ancient architectural detritus, each filling your garden with music; weather proofing is built in. Further I am happy to create one-off designs in pairs or batched to suit corporate branding or any marketing requirement." shares Richard.
Personally I found Richard's Ghanaian Ancestor Mask to be most fascinating. "Based on an authentic African Ghanaian Ritual Mask this speaker system epitomizes our ethos. Visually stunning and acoustically accurate, a piece to be desired, not hidden."
So how much does this piece of art cost? Well, $1200 plus $150 for shipping in the US. Well, I know the cost is pretty steep, but rather looking at them as mere speakers, appreciate the art work behind them.

The art work is stunning and it is amazing Richard came with the idea of making speakers from art. The price factor is what makes it a bit out of reach and due to this it would be mainly sold as art work rather than speakers.
We are sure that its the art combined with technology that charms people. And you can't really put a price tag on art...can you? :)
Agreed! Putting a price tag on art s really impossible, when ever you look at the dedication put in it, it seems worthy of more. Art is priceless.
